Amongst Taveuni island's wild profusion of natural beauty, and tucked away on a gently sloping hill is Maravu Plantation Resort. Taveuni is know as the Garden Isle of Fiji, with volcanic mountains peaking at 120 metres with lush rain forests and majestic waterfalls. The island is alive with rare birds and exotic flowers. Guests are welcomed and within a few minutes the Maravu magic begins, Maravu is a 54 acre plantation resort with ten large bures facing the tropical sunsets. Three are honeymoon bures with private outdoor showers, sun deck and verandah. Our seven deluxe bures can accommodate up to four persons. Amenities include a large tiled bathroom and a secluded verandah. All bures have a ceiling fan, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facility. The bures are well appointed to ensure privacy. Room service, housekeeping and laundry service are available daily.

Rates are inclusive of: accommodations, all meals, transfers from/to Matei Airstrip, FREE Resort activities. Rates subject to 12.5% VAT (Government tax). Free activities include horseback riding, mountain bikes, kayaks, snorkelling, guided plantation walks, storytelling, several times a week Kava ceremony and entertainment with our houseband, weekly Meke (Fijian songs & dances) and Lovo (Fijian underground feast). Minimum 4 night stay is required for Honeymoon Bure and Honeymoon Deluxe Suite. Rates subject to change without notice. Valid through Mar 31, 2007.

The meal plan consists of a full cooked breakfast with hot dishes of your choice, a three course Gourmet lunch or packed lunch, afternoon tea/coffee with homemade cookies and a three
course Gourmet dinner. All dietary requirements are catered for.
